Once you’ve found your base for your family holiday you then have to fill your days. Luckily at Bridgend House there are loads of great places close by to take children to inspire them that are really enjoyable for adults too.
Nothing beats a family day on the beach building sand castles, searching for crabs and collecting sea shells to take home. The only problem will be deciding which beach to go to. You are spoilt for choice at Lower Largo with two long sandy beaches to choose from. Try out some beach rounder’s or brush up on your cricket skills.
If all that exercise gets you hot and bothered call in to the local shop for an ice cream to cool you down.
You could also take a walk along the coastal path to Elie and have a snack at the Ship Inn in Elie before jumping on a bus back to Lower Largo.

Situated adjacent to Lundin Links with its famous golf course it is also close to many fine nine and eighteen hole golf courses.
For the rainy days Leven, which is a five minute drive away, has a swimming pool and leisure complex. During the summer months there is a small funfair with additional entertainments providing fun for children.
Also with the beach so close by when you get home from touring, the kids can burn off some extra energy racing round the beach while you get a chance to relax and take in the view.
